StandUp Malaysia is an organization founded by two young Malaysian women who strongly believe in the cause to fight against sexual and gender-based violence. Initially, they started this movement in 2018 in conjunction with 16-Days of Activism and gradually expanded as an organisation registered under the Registrar of Societies (RoS) as Persatuan Solidariti Wanita Terhadap Keganasan Gender.
The aim of this organisation is to educate and raise awareness about sexual and gender-based violence among women and girls in Malaysia through civic engagement, workshops and social media content.
To advocate women and girls to stand up and fight any form of violence against them in order to build a safer world where they can live without fear or favour.
